**Job Summary**:
We are looking for a hard-working and energetic labourer to assist the team in our workshop/lab space. You will focus on small day-to-day tasks, as well as ad-hoc requests. Our workshop/lab is a busy area with moving machinery, frequent deliveries, constant upgrades, and people walking through. Help us stay organized, safe, and efficient.

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Build/assemble tables and equipment
- Change over piping on test benches
- Clean up / organize the workshop
- Mount gas bottle brackets
- Mount fire extinguishers
- Put up PPE signage
- Assist with moving furniture and other heavy equipment
- Inventory control of shop consumables such as nuts and bolts, ear plugs, welding parts, lathe tips, etc.
- Basic mechanical tasks such as bolting Unistrut to walls, cutting and deburring tube, etc.
- Assist other staff with tasks that require more than one person, such as oxygen cleaning, or moving/installing heavy equipment
- Other relevant duties as required

**Qualifications**
- Great attitude - “yes” person
- Basic mechanical skills and willing to learn and be taught new skills
- 1-2 years as a labourer or workshop assistant preferred
- Forklift licence
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
- WHMIS or other safety certificates an asset
- Must be eligible to work in Canada
