About the Role

We are seeking a skilled labourer to join our team at True North Labour Inc. As a semi-skilled labourer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a wheelbarrow and dollies to transport materials
  • Manual handling of materials, including digging and excavation
  • Act as a spotter for equipment and assist with jackhammering and dewatering
  • Vacuuming and pressure washing to create a dustless environment
  • Operate a leaf blower, gas and electric
  • Assist with insulation, painting preparation, and waterproofing
  • Knowledge of basic hand tools and some power tools
  • Measure with a tape measure and snap lines using a chalk line
  • Assist in demolition and site cleanup

Requirements

  • Knowledge of hand tools and intermediate math skills
  • Must own PPE, including a hard hat, high-visibility vest, and steel-toe boots
  • Must be physically fit and able to lift and move 50 lbs over 100 meters
  • Must be safety-conscious and legally entitled to work in Canada
