**Position Overview**:
As a General Resident Care Assistant, you’ll play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Medication Management**: Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
- **Wellness Checks**: Monitor and report any changes in residents' physical or mental health conditions.
- **Health Care**: Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals
- **Meal Assistance**: Prepare simple and nourishing meals for up to 10 residents.
- **Companionship**: Engage in friendly conversations and recreational activities with residents.
- **Housekeeping**: Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
- **Documentation**: Record observations and communicate any changes in residents’ conditions.

**Requirements**:

- Prior experience in senior care preferred but not required.
- Current Vulnerable Sector Background Check.
- Current Food Handler Certification.
- Current Basic Life Support (previously CPR) Certification
- Current Negative TB (Tuberculosis) Test.
- Willingness to undergo training (online general - ORCA) and Home-specific monthly in person.
