The Climate Partnership and Engagement Branch under the Climate Action Secretariat facilitates partnerships and engagement with domestic and international Stakeholders and other levels of government to implement government climate action priorities. The Policy Integration and Engagement (PIE) team is made up of engagement and communication professionals that are equipped to facilitate effective and coordinated communication and engagements strategies that support the Climate Action Secretariat’s efforts in implementing government’s climate action priorities.

The PIE team is responsible for developing and leading communication strategies for collaborative partnerships and communicating with internal and external stakeholders. The team provides in-house corporate communication series, acts as a corporate point of contact for GCPE. Team members are responsible for collaborating with the division’s staff/branch leads, other provincial ministries, and NGOS to develop, execute and support engagement materials and strategies that help educate British Columbians to activate awareness related to climate action priorities.

The Manager, Climate Outreach leads targeted public awareness campaigns to increase public awareness of provincial investments in climate mitigation and adaptation. The Manager, Climate Outreach works in a matrix environment on the PIE team to help lead Climate Action Secretariat internal engagement initiatives, support the development of CAS-led government climate web presence, to represent Climate Action Secretariat at internal and external events and working groups and conferences, as well as to develop innovative tools and climate communications materials

**Job Requirements**:

- Degree in business administration, public administration, related field or equivalent.
- Minimum of two years related experience in:

- Managing multiple projects or leading a component (e.g., sub-project) of a major project.
- Managing relationships with senior level stakeholders and leading consultation sessions.
- Directing the work for other project managers, professional employees, and/or consultants.

Preference may be given to applicants with the following:

- Climate action related experience.
