Minimum/Required Qualifications BS or BA in Human Development, ChildDevelopment, Early Childhood Education or related field. 2+ years\'experience as a program administrator (Director, Assistant Director,etc.) in a licensed early care and education setting responsible formanagement and supervision of adults. 1+ year of experience in a birthto three ECE program Demonstrable contributions to promoting andenhancing diversity in early care and education. Effective verbal andwritten communication. Must be enrolled in the Oregon\'s Office of ChildCare Central Background Registry by time of appointment. Position Duties75% Program Administration: Plans, develops, coordinates, administers,executes, and assesses all aspects of the infant/toddler program,including maintaining the appropriate state licensure and qualityassurance certifications/accreditations (NAEYC and QRIS/Spark 5),providing/organizing staff (teacher) training and development,recruitment and outreach to families, and disseminating programmaterials and information. Establishes, manages, and maintainscollaborations and partnerships with various OSU departments, units,colleges, and programs as well as resources outside of OSU in support ofchildren and families accessing the Center and in support of studentsinterning in the Center. 20% Supervision: Provides supervision includingplan, assign and approve work; respond to grievances; hire/fire (oreffectively recommend); prepare and sign performance evaluations/reviewsof employees including classified and/or professional faculty.Supervision and assessment of OSU HDFS interns. 5% Other duties asassigned Full Consideration Date: 5/02/2024 See posting for completelist of duties and qualifications.
