Reporting to the District Manager, as a Store Manager with Olsen, you will create the ultimate shopping experience for our customers. You will be responsible for the overall retail operations of your store. More specifically, you will develop an excellent sales team while always ensuring that brand integrity is maintained.
You will be responsible for the overall retail operations of your store. More specifically, you will strive to exceed all financial goals, productivity targets; budgeted hours and inventory shrink results through effective planning and execution.
**Duties & Responsibilities**:
Strong ability to recruit, hires, train and develop an excellent sales team while ensuring that brand integrity is maintained.
Execute floor moves based on directives, modifying as required based on business trends.
Ensure that replenishment is received in accordance with policy and merchandise placed on the floor same day as per visual directive.
Ensure the highest of maintenance standards to include stores execution for timely processing of new inventory, price changes and markdowns.
Proactively identifies various market opportunities and makes recommendations to the District Manager for localized product, visual and marketing strategies.
Effectively manage the payroll (budgeted hour etc).
Ability to create excitement and shows passion for the product by communicating relevant information about fashion and product knowledge to the clientele and other business partners.
Trains staff on how to drive sales (KPIs) to fullest potential through continued development on product knowledge, customer service standards, visual presentation and Olsen’s selling strategy.
Always ensure adequate staffing by appropriately scheduling staff based on business trends and making any necessary adjustments within wage goal/budget.
Ensure all Human Resources paperwork and training are current and kept in folders for associate per retention guidelines.
Ensure price integrity and general pricing of product on the floor is reflective of current markdowns and markups per company directives.
Ensure all sales are rung correctly and that all associates are trained on the registers.
Be effective in building and sustaining relationships.
Demonstrate leadership capabilities.
Be self-driven and results-oriented with a positive outlook.
Be able to influence and persuade.
**Qualifications**
Minimum 3+ years in retail management.
Strong merchandising/visual skill.
Strong business acumen.
Demonstrate leadership capabilities.
Have advanced interpersonal and communication skills - both verbal and written.
Communicate with a high degree of respect and professionalism at all levels of the business.
Have a passion for fashion.
**Working Conditions**
Flexible work schedules in accordance with business requirements and mall/licensed operating hours.
Continually able to stand/walk for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift a maximum of 18kg/40 lbs.
Ability to reach overhead, bend, squat, kneel and carry product, necessary for customer service, inventory re-stock and store merchandising.
