Acheson, Canada SMS Equipment Inc. Full time

At **SMS Equipment, **our **Receptionist **is responsible for welcoming and assisting customers, visitors and employees when they arrive at our Acheson location. The **Receptionist **is a professional member of the SMS team who provides excellent customer service while carrying out their job duties. This position is based in **Acheson, AB.**

The salary range for this position is **$35,000 - $45,000.**

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Operate the switchboard to process all incoming phone calls, redirect phone calls or take messages as required.
- Greet the public in a professional and courteous manner.
- Prepare and send out all courier deliveries, sign for incoming deliveries and distribute.
- Ensure all visitors sign in as required.
- Ensure contractors have completed on-site orientation.
- Assist in ordering and managing office stationery supplies.
- Assist with travel and catering bookings.
- Prepare customer statements for mailing.
- Other administrative and support duties as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Positive attitude for greeting customers and clients in a friendly and warm manner upon arrival to the office or through the phone.
- Flexibility to be able to move between activities and duties quickly if priorities change.
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills, and demonstrates professionalism.
- Proficient computer skills
- Previous experience with telephone switchboards is an asset
