**The Opportunity**

The Conference Centre/Facility Technician is responsible for providing various ancillary services for all clients using all meeting rooms and Executive Floor facilities. These services include: physical room set-up, meeting and equipment amenities and support/assistance with all equipment, Facility moves, adds and changes.

**Responsibilities**
- As requested, the technician must provide physical room set-up in the Conference Centre and Executive Floor facilities as per client requirements. In addition, the technician must ensure that the physical set-up meets the required legal safety requirements.
- The incumbent must ensure all back-to-back meetings are set-up in a timely manner, all last-minute meeting room set-up changes are met and ensure that the Conference Centre is supported on a rotational basis from 07:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Technician must ensure all meeting and equipment amenities applied by clients are returned, inventoried, and secured in storage rooms.
- Provide meeting and equipment amenities through the Conference Centre, executive meeting floor facilities and office floor meeting rooms in 200 and 250 Bloor Street East as per client requirement. Demonstrate, train, and support clients of proper equipment operation. Provide continuous presence during conferences/meetings for immediate assistance if required. Daily inspection of Conference Centre facilities is needed to ensure furniture is in proper place.
- The incumbent must supply ergonomically correct furniture for all levels of employees throughout the Complex and is responsible for various employee moves ranging from one employee to an entire floor.
- Facilitate moves and installations of new furniture with Project Mangers/Coordinators. Employee moves: Company-issued technology, belongings, and specialty items for furniture to appropriate areas, and customizing furniture for specific needs.
- Handling Workplace solutions requests as required.

Reporting to the Conference Centre Manager, the Conference Centre Technician is an integral part of the Workplace Solutions team assisting in managing a new 30,000 sqft facility. Assisting with executive meetings such as the AGM, Board of Director, ELT and GLT and segmental Town Halls.

- Comprehensive knowledge on all Conference Centre technology, Microsoft Teams, and equipment
