Paquet has significant experience in all areas of digital marketing, and has used hundreds of marketing tools to optimize operations and digital marketing tasks.

Decorated both academically and in his professional career, Mathew has been recognized for his numerous achievements, including graduating in the top 0.25% of business students globally and being a founding team member of Snapclarity, a recipient of the Ottawa’s Best Business award. Mathew founded myMarketing, a full-service digital marketing subscription, in 2020 and scaled the company to six figures in revenue within the first year of business.

With a following of over 50,000 followers on social media, Mathew is looking for a video editor and social media strategist / content creator to take care of coming up with new ideas based on trends, edit his videos, write engaging copy, and publish posts daily on all social media platforms (TikTok, Youtube Shorts, Instagram Reels, Pinterest, etc.).

Personal branding is very important for an entrepreneur such as Mathew, and the selected individual will have the opportunity to kickstart their career with valuable experience in video editing and social media content creation.

This is a position for post-secondary students*. **You _must _be a currently enrolled student in a post-secondary institution program.**

**Location**:Remote & On-site (must be able to film content with the CEO in Ottawa)

**Job Type**:Full-Time, Internship

**Salary**:Salary: $16.00 per hour

**Job duties and responsibilities**:

- Write scripts for video content, mostly related to Graphic Design, Business, and Digital Marketing
- Work with the CEO to record audio and video content for social media platforms
- Edit both video and audio content using Adobe Creative Cloud software
- Social media account management; including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok, and LinkedIn
- Research, study, and analyze trends, sounds, and hashtags.
- Create, edit, and archive digital media that aligns with the CEO's marketing goals
- Collaborate and create marketing campaigns and initiatives with the CEO
- Collect and report data on marketing campaigns and social media account engagement
- Compare marketing and social media results and strategies with competitors, and keep a pulse on trends within digital marketing
- Submit scripts for approval and correction
- Travel to location when needed to record content
- Be responsible for projects from concept to final product
- Post, list and upload content to various social media with appropriate metadata (tags, titles, description etc.)
- Operate and maintain video and audio equipment
- Operate and maintain greenscreen studio space and equipment

**Qualifications**:

- Job Requirements_
- Familiarity with all major social media platforms (including Tik Tok, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter)
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud software (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Audition, Photoshop, etc.)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Portfolio of relevant video and audio work
- Must be a self-starter
- Must have a professional attitude
- Must bring a creative sensibility to all aspects of video and audio production
- Proficiency with DSLR camera operation is a bonus
- Must have good organizational skills and work well with little supervision
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Willing to perform other duties assigned by the CEO, related to engaging with his followers
