**Location**: This opportunity has the ability to be remotely based within Canada (except for QC), or onsite/hybrid/remote in the Vancouver, BC Lower Mainland.
- **Annual Base Salary**: $60,000 - $62,100 CAD

**SEO Specialist**:
Safe Software is looking for an enthusiastic SEO Specialist to join our Marketing team. As a SEO Specialist, the primary purpose of this role is developing and implementing audience-first SEO strategies, conducting thorough audits, and optimizing our web presence. You will play a crucial role in creating compelling SEO-optimized content to drive organic traffic and analyzing data trends to inform strategy adjustments. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure SEO is integrated with overall marketing goals.

**What You’ll Be Doing**:
As a SEO Specialist, you will:

- Developing and implementing SEO strategies that align with an audience-first approach.
- Conducting thorough SEO audits and optimizing the web presence based on current best practices.
- Creating compelling, SEO-optimized content to drive organic traffic.
- Analyzing data trends and building insightful, data-driven reports to inform strategy adjustments.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate SEO with overall marketing goals.

**Required skills**:

- A minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience in B2B SEO, preferably in the SaSS industry.
- Demonstrating strong keyword research experience and skills to identify and target valuable search terms.
- Demonstrated expertise in content creation, with a focus on blog development.
- Proven track record in B2B marketing and an understanding of funnel marketing dynamics.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to create and interpret data-driven reports.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress and Gainsight.
- Proficient in SEO tools such as Screaming Frog and SEMRush.
- Experience with data analysis tools like Looker Studio and Google Analytics.
- Comfortable using design tools like Canva.

**Desired skills / Bonus points**:

- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- Experience with B2B Search Engine Marketing (SEM).
- Basic understanding of UI/UX principles.
- Experience in creating graphic marketing materials.
