**What You Will Do**

As a Business Development Manager - North America, you will be an integral part of the CoverGo sales team in the region, assisting the Head of Sales - Americas to increase sales revenues of CoverGo in the region, by prospecting new insurance clients and closing deals.
- Determine client's pain points and present the CoverGo platform while describing benefits for their business
- Run discovery meetings and demos of the CoverGo platform to generate new business
- Work and maintain a pipeline of high-quality opportunities
- Build relationships with leadership at target prospect companies
- Build relationships with key partners (consulting firms, big 4, system integrators, etc) to generate indirect sales opportunities, leads, etc.
- Utilize CoverGo's sales methodology and CRM to manage sales processes and accurately forecast business, liaise regularly with CoverGo Head of Sales - Americas
- Join industry events in the region to promote CoverGo & generate leads
- Build close relationships with existing clients in the region to generate upsell, cross-sell opportunities, and ensure customer success.

**What We Need**
- Physically based in Toronto, New York, or other cities that is a key market for insurance
- Extensive personal & professional network in the region within the insurance industry
- 3+ years B2B SaaS/Technology-based sales experience, experience in insurtech and/or fintech is a plus
- Strong understanding of enterprise technology sales (SaaS, IT, or Tech products)
- Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written. French, and Spanish are a plus
- Proven track record of sales efforts and revenue growth in previous companies
- Experience using sales CRM (Hubspot, Salesforce)
- Experience using prospection tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Zoominfo, etc.
- Knowledge of SPIN and/or GAP selling methodologies is a plus
- Strong listening skills, proactive, persuasive, able to influence & outgoing attitude
