Reporting to the Manager, IT Servers and Infrastructure, the Systems Administrator will be responsible for an extensive range of technologies and will work with internal and external clients.

**WHAT YOU’LL DO**:

- Respond to support and inquiry tickets on an ongoing basis.
- Commission, test, and troubleshoot phone and internet service orders for clients and exhibitors.
- Provide Tier 2 troubleshooting and end-user technical support for all software and hardware issues.
- Utilize helpdesk software to log, prioritize, and manage all problems to resolution.
- Communicate resolution status to users and stakeholders and document solutions to problems.
- Develop and maintaining written instructional materials and documentation to facilitate IT or user operations.
- Create, Load, configure, and test hardware and software installations as well as upgrades for users.
- Create and manage DHCP, DNS, network scripts, and printing as necessary.
- Manage Active Directory and Azure Active Directory / Identity for the organization.
- Manage and assess software licensing including Microsoft licensing, Ungerboeck licensing, ABI licensing, Adobe Licensing, Zoho licensing.
- Perform and verify daily backups and server checks to maintain data integrity.
- Maintain, update, and support internal intranet site.
- Respond to inventory change requests by physically moving, adding, or changing technology.
- Audit, verify, and maintain accurate hardware and software inventories.
- Participate in project initiatives - large scale technology replacement, rollout or decommission.
- Research and evaluate products and services to ensure compatibility with existing systems.
- Inside cable plant support - inventory, documentation, labeling, and organization of data rack wiring.
- Asset inventory - gathering detailed hardware and software inventory information.
- Perform regular server maintenance tasks such as patching, updating, and monitoring server health.
- Troubleshoot and resolve server-related issues and outages.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls on the servers.
- Monitor server performance and optimize resource utilization.
- Ensure server backups are performed and monitor backup logs
- Provide high-level IT support for project-related tasks:

- Provide technical guidance and expertise to project stakeholders.

**QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, AND COMPETENCIES**:

- Polytechnic Degree in computer networking / business systems preferred or completion of a 4-year University Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related area of study
- Cisco - CCNA designation is strongly preferred.
- Comptia A+ or Network+ required
- MCSA Server certification preferred
- Cisco - CCNA designation is preferred
- Azure/Office 365 certification preferred
- 5 + years with Vsphere experience
- 5+ years' experience working with Windows server and other MS technologies, including managing MS licensing
- 8 + years' experience with Technology infrastructure design, implementation and management including MS Active Director, DNS, DHCP, MDT
- Familiarity working with the following systems:

- Azure Active Directory (multiple domain environment).
- IT hardware - typical mobile handheld devices, desktops, printers and copiers.
- Rack hardware - servers, UPS’s, switches, firewalls and routers.
- Microsoft O365
- WLAN systems - enterprise level AP’s, etc.
- Strong understanding of network monitoring tools including Solarwinds and Meraki.
- You have the ability to explain complex technical information to end users.
