Job Description Summary: What you need to know about the role: Reporting to the Team Lead, the Systems Administrator is responsible for implementation and support of IT operations at the operating system level for all Windows, VmWare ESXI, Storage Area Networks, and Linux server systems. This includes developing, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing key functional areas, particularly database infrastructure and server infrastructure. Meet our team: The PayPal Hyperwallet Site Reliability & Cloud Engineering (SRCE) team supports the technologies and platform that power Hyperwallet payout platform. You will work closely with Linux administrator, Microsoft SQL administrator team members.

**Your way to impact**:
You will provide ongoing troubleshooting, support and maintenance on Windows, VMware and storage systems and support the increasing requirements from payout system and ensure the payout system have mínimal downtime.
**Your day-to-day**:
- In your day to day role you will:_
- Deploy, update and monitor Windows systems, VMware infrastructure and storage systems. Provide ongoing troubleshoot, support and maintenance.
- Work directly with third party vendors to support on-premise hosted infrastructure and cloud infrastructure (GCP and AWS)
- Automate manual tasks with PDQ, Windows group policy or other automation tools
- Work with third-party vendor to perform DB maintenance tasks
- Being on call will be required with occasional visit to the Vancouver and Las Vegas data center may be required.
**What do you need to bring**:
- Four-year university degree or college diploma in the field of computer science and/or 5-7 years equivalent work experience.
- Deep knowledge of Windows server, VMware and storage with engineering certification or equivalent experience.
- Ability to script deployments with Powershell or other equivalent automation tools.
- Certifications in AWS and/or GCP, with knowledge of automating deployments and maintenance preferred.
- Linux Systems experience preferred.
- Ability to travel to remote locations occasionally required, and occasional night and weekend work.
