Event Ticketing Administrator

SaskTel Centre is ready to welcome a full-time, permanent, Event Ticketing Administrator to support ticketing within the Ticketmaster system for live events. The successful applicant will be organized, outgoing, and have an overall supportive attitude with a continued willingness to help others.
**Definition**:
Under the supervision of the Business Administrator this position performs all duties related to the Ticketmaster system.
**Typical Duties**:
- Operates the Ticketmaster system, including creating, maintaining and terminating a variety of events.
- Ensures compliance with Ticketmaster policies and procedures regarding event set up and contracting.
- Receives and processes ticket sales for new clients.
- Reconciles trust liability accounts and daily Ticketmaster sales. Balances cash, credit card and Interac payments and records data, as required.
- Communicates with clients to ensure Ticketmaster meets event requirements, including developing and implementing special projects in the system.
- Communicates regularly with representatives of other Ticketmaster operations.
- Responds to enquiries regarding ticketing services.
- Provides client support through timely introductions of new Ticketmaster features and products.
- Troubleshoots system errors. Makes recommendations for improvement to client services and the Ticketmaster system.
- Provides Ticketmaster system training to new staff, as required.
- Performs duties related to subscription and season ticketing, as required.
- Performs assigned duties of the Box Office Supervisor, as required.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
**Knowledge, Abilities and Skills**:
- Knowledge of event ticketing and Box Office operations.
- Knowledge of office equipment, procedures and systems.
- Knowledge of basic accounting procedures.
- Ability to make arithmetic calculations rapidly and accurately.
- Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Ticketmaster clients and employees.
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision in a multi-task environment.
- Skill in the operation of a computer with word-processing, database and spreadsheet software.
**Security Requirements**:
- Acceptable current Criminal Record Check (CRC) upon offer of employment.
**Education, Training and Experience Requirements**:
- Grade 12 education.
- Successful completion of a recognized, post-secondary business administration program.
- Four years' progressive ticketing experience, including experience with the Ticketmaster system.
- Acceptable current criminal record check upon offer of employment.
**Hours Of Work**:
Evening and weekend work will be involved.
