**Job Title: Project Submissions Support**

**Reports to: Project Solutions & Support Supervisor**

**Department: Customer Experience**

**Location Burnaby, B.C.**

**Basic Purpose**:

- To accurately enter client and submission information into the Laboratory Management Information System (LIMS)
- To ensure all submission issues are resolved and pricing is accurate

**Key Accountability/Responsibilities**:

- Ensure accurate entry of sample information into computer database efficiently and accurately
- Ensure client samples are entered into LIMS and approved in a timely manner according to sample holding time, test code, due date, and / or received date
- Effectively execute to Project Submission support KPIs
- Review file entry information (including price, parameters, contact information and client specific needs) to ensure it complies with client and/or regulatory requirements
- Respond to and resolve any client submission issues
- Receive and interact with clients in a friendly and approachable manner
- Adhere to Bureau Veritas Code of Ethics Policy
- Support and comply with all Bureau Veritas policies, Quality System and Health & Safety program
- Participate, when requested in department and health and safety meetings
- Maintain training records and relevant qualifications
- All other responsibilities as assigned

**Skills and Knowledge**:

- College Diploma in Sciences, preferably chemistry or environmental related and/or have the equivalent experience
- Experience in a customer service and/or laboratory environment is an asset
- Strong customer service attitude and commitment to providing exceptional customer service and quality results an asset
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as independently with mínimal supervision
- Attentiveness to detail and ability to manage a diverse workload within a fast-paced environment with changing multiple priorities and frequent interruptions
- Strong prioritization skills
- Effective time management, decision making, excellent listening, problem-solving, planning and organizing skills
- You possess an energetic and keen personality with a positive attitude who thrives in a fast-paced environment where multi-tasking, prioritizing and adapting to change is required
- You are ethical, dynamic, motivated and results oriented
- Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)

**Working Conditions**:

- High level of work production in fast-paced lab environment
- Flexible working hours including weekends, overtime and shift work
- Changing priorities and balancing workload to meet tight deadlines
- Some lifting and carrying (up to 40 lbs) and may involve long periods of standing
- Hazardous materials are handled using established safety procedures and appropriate equipment
