**Responsibilities**:

- Contact customers to collect overdue payments and resolve outstanding issues
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activities
- Review customer accounts to identify delinquent balances and determine appropriate collection actions
- Utilize accounting software to track and manage collections
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of payment information
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns
- Negotiate payment arrangements with customers to establish manageable repayment plans
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and disputes

**Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of accounts receivable processes and procedures
- Proficient in math for accurate calculations and financial analysis
- Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Exceptional customer service skills, including effective phone etiquette
- Ability to analyze account information and perform account analysis
- Familiarity with accounting software for efficient record keeping and reporting
- Strong negotiation skills to reach mutually beneficial payment arrangements

As a Collection Agent, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely payment from customers while maintaining positive relationships. Your attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to navigate challenging situations will contribute to the overall success of our collections efforts. Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
