**Primary Function**
- To deliver a personalized customer experience that cannot be matched
- To sell our product rangeTo maintain a clean environment
- To merchandise the bakery to look attractive and inviting; enhancing the customer experience
**Key Commercial Skills and Qualifications required to meet position objectives**:
- Strong customer service focus
- Relevant retail experience is a strong asset
- Experience of handling cash, credit card and debit transactions preferred
- Completion of Bronze Sales Development Qualification (SDQ) within 3 months of hire
**Work Experience required to meet position objectives**
- Effective literacy and numeracy skills
- Basic Computer Skills
- Good verbal communication skills
- A personable and friendly demeanour; smiling and approachable
- Able to work in a dynamic work environment involving multitasking, customer interaction, effective team work and standing and walking for long periods
**Physical Requirements**
- Continuous standing/ walking for all tasks Required to:
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 7.5 kg., reaching below
- Operate baking machinery shoulder level, bending and turning
- Occasional lifting and carrying up to 22 kg., pushing, pulling, Operate bread slicer crouching, bending and reaching above shoulder level
- Constant use of both hands, and frequent forceful gripping. Use chemical cleaning products
- Constant computer/POS system usage
**Section 2: Position Responsibilities**

To achieve budgeted sales targets through effective Sales Upsell bakery products to customers selling techniques, per Bronze SDQ Avg Sale Complete the transaction using the POS system to record sales in a timely manner

- To record and communicate customer orders as necessary
- Offer customer reward cards to encourage customers to return
To deliver delightful customer service and effectively DCS Standards Greet customers with a smile, a warm greeting and a positive attitude promote marketing campaigns, per Bronze SDQ
- Mystery Shop Offer tastings to introduce customers to different products
- Discuss promotional product with customers
- Feedback
- Listen to, interact with and build rapport with customers

- Educate customers on our product range and answer customer queries as
- Promotional Stock required
Special % Communicate customer feedback to Bakery Team and Management
To enhance customer experience through Bronze SDQ Merchandising as per Bronze SDQ Merchandising Standards merchandising; to look attractive and inviting; enhancing Standards Merchandise as you go the customer experience, per Bronze SDQ
- Use of all merchandising tools
To adhere to OH&S standards OH&S standards Inform other team members and management of potential hazards and near miss incidents
- Clean work environment Create a healthy and safe work environment in the bakery by proactively rectifying potential hazards

To follow Food Safety Program (FSP) Five Star Follow the Food Safety Program (FSP) and cleaning schedule
- Maintain cleaning records
- Collate information from customers
To ensure bakery records are maintained and up to date Hourly Reeds Use the POS system (Bready) to print off hourly readings for: o Production
- Production o Wastage
- Schedule Entry o Cash Ups o Discounts, wholesales and refunds
- Maintain records as directed in accordance with Company standards and processes
To maintain effective relationships with all team Team Work Train new staff members members of Bakers Delight/COBS Bread Attitude Follow directions from managers
- Support the Sales and Baking Team
Assist with Production Assist with weigh-ups, mixing doughs,
- Removing product from oven, mix, cut, tray and bake scones
- Prepare and bake croissant and Danish, decorating,
- Other duties as required.
Online Training and Bronze SDQ Breaducate Induction, Marketing promotion and all Breaducate online training modules as modules required
- Bronze SDQ Completion of Bronze SDQ within 3 months of hire
