**What is the Opportunity**

Reporting to the Executive Vice-President, Operations and Information Technology, your primary responsibility is to lead and support teams of professionals in the timely and accurate accounting and reporting of Addenda’s investment portfolios and funds. In addition, you will manage key relationships with 3rd party service providers and maintain a focus on process improvements.

**What you will do**
- You provide leadership, direction, and support to teams of professionals, establishing department objectives and managing ongoing performance;
- You develop the skills and performance of your teams in line with organizational guidelines and objectives;
- You plan, direct, and control day-to-day operations of the Investments Operations and Investment Accounting teams ensuring complete, accurate and timely processing;
- You oversee external investment fund administration and accounting functions;
- You manage the monthly investment accounting reporting cycle as well as the production of interim and annual financial statement production and other regulatory reporting of Addenda investment funds;
- You oversee investment portfolio reporting of performance and attribution;
- You develop and manage applicable external vendor relationships, including performing service level reviews;
- You anticipate internal and external business challenges including regulatory changes and recommend process and operational improvements, as applicable.

**Experience and Knowledge**
- You have a Bachelor or Master level degree (preferably in accounting or finance) and a professional accounting designation;
- You have seven (7) or more years in investment accounting and financial reporting experience;
- You have strong leadership skills with demonstrated supervisory experience;
- Knowledge and experience in IFRS standards;
- Experience and knowledge of the regulatory framework of investment funds;
- Knowledge of financial markets and instruments, including financial derivatives;
- Experience managing relationship and working with third-party services providers;
- Knowledge and experience with investment accounting systems;
- You have advanced Microsoft Office skills and experience querying databases (MS-SQL) or programming;
- You are proficient in identifying and improving manual processes using automation.

**Skills and Abilities**
- You are well-organized, have a strong work ethic and analytical;
- You have exceptional interpersonal communication skills (French and English);
- You must demonstrate the ability to simultaneously manage multiple assignments while working efficiently to meet deliverables;
- You are detailed oriented and focused on ensuring preventative and detective controls are in place.
