Director, Integrated Program Delivery

**Job Summary**
Reporting into the Senior Director, Global Transformation Corporate Real Estate (CRE), the Director, Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) role is responsible for leading the project delivery of a key CRE outsourcing strategy initiative (Project Everest). This major transformational initiative involves the future outsourced services model for transaction management and real estate services performed by third parties under long term master services agreements managed by CRE.
This role will partner with the Global Transformation Team, CRE Leadership, functional partners & other leaders across RBC to identify project related activities, manage stakeholder relationships and activate the project plan. The role will ensure governance throughout the project aligns with the RBC framework and within approved scope, schedule and budget while minimizing service disruption to business partners and mitigating risks.

**_ Note: This is a 12 months contract role with option to be extended to 18months depending on business needs._**
**What will you do?**
**Planning**
- Provide senior project management expertise and direction to support project planning. This includes but is not limited to strategic planning, stakeholder management & the identification of critical activities.
- Influence and align project outcomes to optimize the benefits and reduce the risks throughout the project.
**Program/Project Delivery**
- Accountable for the delivery of all end-to-end project plan activities.
- Manage all project controls to ensure effective governance, including project documentation
- Lead integration of the various workstreams, driving alignment across internal CRE teams, Service Providers and with key functional partners where applicable.
- Develop and manage the detailed schedule, identify early warning indicators, identify potential risks and issues and develop mitigation strategies in consultation with Global Transformation Team senior leadership
- Establish and monitor project milestones, and provide timely project, program executive summaries, as well as appropriate internal management reporting, metrics, and key information
- Prepare and support the PAR process for initiative spending
**What do you need to succeed?**
- Oversee highly matrixed team of internal CRE stakeholders and functional partners as well as global and regional service partners to successfully deliver on project plan.
- Leverage the value in unit and department-wide teams to develop better solutions and achieve a cross functional mindset.
- Accept and successfully execute change while supporting project team through the process and keep them focused on business priorities.
- Ability to deal with conflict management involving senior management, internal clients and other colleagues.
**Must-have**
- Undergraduate degree, coupled with 8+ years of demonstrated experience in complex projects with high frequency of requests and multiple priorities.
- Excellent leadership, communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels, experienced and comfortable presenting to executives
- Knowledge of Microsoft Projects or Planview; ability to conduct project in accordance with standard project management discipline, consistently following RBC’s Enterprise Initiative Management Framework.
- A bias for action, demonstrating agility and decisiveness with prior experience working in fast-paced deadline sensitive environment
- Extensive problem-solving skills and solution mindset with attention to detail, curiosity and a passion for innovative and creative solutions
- Multi-tasker comfortable working autonomously or with a team

- Experience in managing outsourced vendor relationships.
