**Position Overview**: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Consultant to join our team. As an Accountanting Consultant you will work closely with the Accounting Manager to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records and statements for our clients. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in public accounting while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare financial records and documents accurately and efficiently.
- Assist in the preparation of financial working papers in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Work on creating draft financial statements under the guidance of the Accounting Manager.
- Prepare government remittances, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and deadlines.
- Provide insightful analysis of client business operations and transactions to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of client engagements.
- Assist with other accounting and administrative tasks as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Post secondary education in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA designation would be considered an asset.
- Previous experience in an accounting role or internship preferred.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other accounting software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
