**Who you are**:
As an Accounts Payable leader, you are experienced in supporting and providing mentorship and technical guidance to AP Team members. Your technical skills include vendor administration, consolidating and tracking pay orders and invoices, and overseeing process accounts and outgoing payments. You are not afraid to roll up your sleeves when your team needs support completing their day-to-day tasks and duties, but you can also look ahead to identify and implement process improvements and simplify the work.

**What you’ll do day-to-day**:

- Oversee Accounts Payable team and support them in their day-to-day tasks and duties
- Troubleshoot escalations from internal customers and external vendors
- Maintain accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions
- Verify vendor invoices to ensure correct receipt of goods, including matching invoices with shipping and receiving slips, and tracing purchase back to approved POs, where applicable
- Process accounts and outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions
- Charge expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports and recording entries
- Identify areas for process improvement and simplification in AP systems and processes

**Your qualifications**:

- Post-graduate education in Business, Finance or Accounting
- 5+ years’ experience in Accounts Payable, Finance, or similar teams
- 2+ years’ experience specifically in an AP Team Lead or Supervisory role
