Gruppo Terroni is seeking a Marketing Manager, Operations to join our diverse and passionate creative team of Industry leaders. Since 1992, our philosophy of doing business, core values and commitment to providing the best in food, wine, and customer service along with an authentic passion for Italian culture has proven itself with the test of time. Our family run business has now grown over the years into a multi-faceted operation encompassing restaurants, bakeries, commissaries and retail in Toronto and Los Angeles, operating under the brands Terroni, Sud Forno, Spaccio, Cavinona Wine Agency and La Bottega di Terroni online shop.

**Description of Role**:
Reporting to the VP, Marketing and collaborating with the Marketing Manager, Projects you will be responsible for leading our passionate team of creatives on the day to day operations of the marketing department. You will also lead the activities of Gruppo Terroni’s multifaceted marketing team by further developing and promoting our strong family values and love of Italian food, traditions & culture across internal and external platforms guided by our well established brand guidelines.

**Objectives**:

- Manage Marketing team and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Marketing department via resource planning, scheduling and efficient internal processes
- Inspire and lead our creative team of marketing professionals to produce and deliver high quality projects on time, on budget and on brand
- Support the Marketing Manager, Projects in coordinating team tasks for project-based work
- Support the VP of Marketing in developing the strategy as well as the delivery of effective marketing initiatives that promote and reflect our Gruppo Terroni philosophy
- Lead internal and external marketing communications that drive brand awareness across marketing campaigns, promotions, and sales support
- Maintain and evolve our family of brands by reinforcing our connection to Italian Culture

**Duties**:

- Lead internal Marketing group and collaborate with team members on sales and marketing campaigns, lead creative brainstorming sessions to develop marketing plans for internal and external projects
- Measure and report the performance of marketing campaigns to gain insight and assess against identified goals
- Develop on brand Marketing tactics, ensuring synergy with Marketing and brand strategy
- Efficiently delegate duties and support the development of marketing materials by adapting scopes, timelines, and deliverables as needed for maximum benefit
- Spearhead and coordinate creative assignments, from photo and film shoots, graphic design layouts to set design for upcoming promotions, following the asthetic and brand guidelines established by the VP, Marketing
- Oversee the maintenance of our websites, partnered online platforms (doordash, opentable, etc) and e-commerce stores to ensure they are accurate in content and up-to-date alongside seasonal campaigns
- Strategically manage social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook) and electronic newsletters by establishing the content and timeline priorities for the creative team
- Collaborate with CPCO to effectively develop creative Employer Brand marketing strategies
- Research, create and implement programs that effectively communicate the company’s values and commitment to providing the highest standards of service and our dedication to the quality and authenticity of our Italian culture (both internally and externally)
- PR support when needed for incoming leads and customer support
- Evaluate co-branding opportunities and develop on brand strategies for collaborations

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Love of Italian Culture
- Degree in marketing, business or related field
- 3-5+ years of solid marketing and/or creative content production experience
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational, tactical and project management skills
- Thrives in a hectic and stimulating multi brand creative environment
- Proven success in a fast-paced and multi-project environment
- Exceptional oral, written communication and presentation skills
- Technical know-how with Marketing software such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Mailchimp, Shopify, Website Management and more
- Fluency in Italian language and/or culture highly an asset
- Proven passion for food
