**Position Purpose**:The HR Manager will be responsible for providing coaching, support, and direction in all HR functional areas. The HR manager will work with plant leadership as a strategic partner to drive performance and employee engagement. The incumbent will be an advocate for our employees and will champion the IPG culture. **Principle Accountabilities**
- Promotes a positive work environment and people-focused programs and processes that fosters continuous development and positive employee relations.
- Participates in the overall management of the plant as a member of the site leadership team.
- Leads the HR team to ensure effective HR service delivery with responsibility for all HR activities including but not limited to recruitment and retention, employee relations, training, compensation and benefits, organizational development, and employee engagement activities.
- Provides effective and tactical counsel to operations management and actively work to achieve continuous improvement in all areas of the Human Resources function.
- Ensure ongoing review, updating and implementation of policies and procedures.
- Provide coaching and advice to Supervisors, Managers and employees on Human Resources processes and policies.
- Support plant safety initiatives and champion safety within the facilities.
- Provide HR support to our Delta, BC facility as required.
- Manage disability, WCB and other claims and facilitate return to work and accommodation programs.
- Models our IPG values centered around people: People, Teamwork, Integrity, Passion and Performance.
- Related tasks as requested by supervisor.

**Essential Skills and Experience**
- Undergraduate degree in a related field.
- Five years of progressive experience in Human Resources in a manufacturing environment. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Completed or working towards a CHRP/CPHR designation is preferred.
- A high degree of flexibility and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving organization.
- Strong, interpersonal, coaching and influencing skills.
- High levels of integrity, tact, and maturity.
- Collaborative and energetic with strong customer service orientation and problem-solving capability.
- Enthusiasm, energy, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently, be self-motivated and work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
- A demonstrated change agent who is comfortable with ambiguity.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, complemented by excellent attention to details, follow-up, and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and complex situations with sound judgment and discretion.
- Conflict resolution skills, with the ability to gain trust and work through others to achieve goals.
