**Inventory and Procurement Administrator**
**Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Utilize Excel spreadsheets to calculate the months' on-hand inventory by size, provide recommendations for purchase based on the production schedule, and determine the inventory needs.
- Prepare purchase orders.
- Communicate reports and prioritize purchase orders by critical need.
- Communicate and respond to internal stakeholder inquiries.
- Monitor inventory levels and reorders to forecasted productions.
- Ensure orders meet the optimal inventory levels to maximize order fulfillment and minimize inventory holdings.
- Monitor and track incoming shipments and arrange appointment schedules.
- Liaise and coordinate with logistics and client logistics for incoming and outgoing deliveries.
- Liaise with contractual and non-contractual companies.
- Cross-reference bill of lading and ensure accuracy in pricing and items invoices.
- Resolve inbound material and invoice discrepancies as required.
- Schedule orders and maintain delivery date updates to the Shipping and Receiving Department.
- Manage Customer Owned Material (COM) processing and entering of orders as well as their inventory and expiry.
- Assist with monthly inventory management and cross-reference, and communicate discrepancies to appropriate personnel.
- Liaise with carrier or PWIC to conduct Customs Broker Details for cross
- border shipments.
- Generate and manage Production Demand and Supply plans.
- Develop, maintain strong relationships, and communicate effectively with suppliers and customers.
- Identify issues and market trends proactively to resolve pricing, inventory, or warranty discrepancies effectively and efficiently.
- Maintain safety stock levels for all assigned products.
- Participate in cost-improvement projects.
- Review and action the Forecast vs. Actual demand report as per schedule.
- Communicate potential pricing discrepancies with management.
The abovementioned describes the general nature and level of work this position performs. Management, at its sole discretion, may assign further duties as necessary.
**Requirements**:
- Post-secondary degree/ diploma in Business Administration or related field **2-5 years** relevant experience is required.
- Experience in inventory management, shipping and receiving, and administrative duties in a high-paced working environment is preferred.

- Full proficiency with Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively manage constraints and competing priorities.
- Ability to work effectively and independently as well as part of the team.

- Problem-solver
- Negotiation skills is an asset.
- Ability to type 25-30 WPM
- Knowledge of food industry regulations and safety standards is a plus.
**Salaries may vary depending on the experience of the incumbent.**
Pay: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
