Cloverdale Paint is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Procurement Analyst to join our growing Procurement team in **Winnipeg, MB.**

We are looking for someone to work full-time from **Monday to Friday**.. Executing collaboratively with the Director of Procurement on cost saving initiatives, 3PL warehouse / inventory management, replenishment review in a strategic manner is key to the success of the role

Wage is negotiable depending on previous experience.

**This position requires travel within Canada, the USA, and internationally, as required.**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provide accurate forecasts that require internal collaboration with the site buyer to provide suppliers based on production requirements.
- Prepare request for proposals, request for quotes and navigate supply challenges.
- Collaborate with our internal teams across our Canadian manufacturing sites to ensure timely start of production for newly sourced raw materials and packaging.
- Work closely with sales, laboratories and manufacturing teams to understand details of procurement requirements.
- Proactively identify opportunities for supplier development, cost reduction, process optimization and other continuous improvement opportunities.
- Develop strong internal relationships through regular communication and possible site visits.
- Manage supplier risk and develops strategies to resolve issues and/or concerns.
- Analyze industry and demand trends and support the director of procurement and the regional buyer at the plant level with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies.
- Use project management principles and techniques including estimating costs, identifying resource requirements, establishing timelines, and monitoring progress.
- Document processes and generate monthly usage reports.
- Monitor the company's demand for products to avoid supply shortages.
- Keep abreast of vendor and supplier-related activities in the industry.

**EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- Proven work experience as a Procurement Analyst or similar role.
- Post-secondary studies in finance, business administration, or accounting.
- Extensive experience in evaluating the vendors based on the vendors cost, quality, and service.
- A Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) designation from the Supply Chain Management Association of Canada or similar accreditation is strongly preferred.
- A minimum of six years of procurement experience, that includes at least three years of experience leading complex procurement projects.
- An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, supplier management and forecasting.
- Industry experience, or familiarity with industry products and seasonal trends.
- Strong computer skills and capabilities in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and procurement and resource planning systems.
- Able to travel within Canada, the USA, and internationally, as required.
- Proficient in Office 365 programs (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word).
