DUTIES:

- OBTAIN PROJECT DOCUMENTS AND FILES REQUIRED FOR BID SUBMISSION
- ANALYZE PROJECT DOCUMENTS, DRAWINGS, SPECIFICATIONS AND ADDENDUMS REQUIRED TO DETERMINE SCOPE OF WORK AND MATERIALS REQUIRED
- COMPLETE EARTHWORKS TAKE-OFFS, VOLUME CALCULATIONS, EQUIPMENT AND LABOUR ESTIMATES, 3D MODELING
- FOLLOW UP ON PROJECT LEADS, OBTAIN RELEVANT CONTACT INFORMATION AND MOVE FORWARD WITH TENDERING PROCESS
- ASSIST ESTIMATING MANAGER IN THE BID PROCESS AND SUPPORT THE ESTIMATING TEAM WITH ONGOING PROJECTS
- ASSIST PROJECT MANAGERS AND SITE SUPERVISORS WITH PROJECT MANAGEMENT, COORDINATION AND THE ORGANIZING AND DISTRIBUTION OF HEALTH AND SAFETY DOCUMENTS.
- SUPPORT THE FIELD CREWS WITH PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND COORDINATION, EG. RFIs, PRINT UP TO DATE DRAWINGS, JOB COSTING/TRACKING
- MONITOR PROJECT COSTS THROUGHOUT THE CONSTRUCTION PROCESS AND MAKE ADJUSTMENTS AS NECESSARY
- FOLLOW UP ON AWARDED PROJECTS AND COMPLETE COMPARATIVE BID ANALYSIS
- ALL OTHER DUTIES REQUIRED BY THE MANAGER

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- COMPLETION OF A CIVIL ENGINEERING PROGRAM FROM A RECOGNIZED POST-SECONDARY INSTITUTION
- STRONG TIME MANAGEMENT SKILLS, WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF MS OUTLOOK, WORD AND PROFICIENCY IN EXCEL, EXCELLENT WRITTEN, ORAL, ORGANIZATIONAL AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS.
- EXCELLENT MATHEMATICAL SKILLS FOR ACCURATE CALCULATIONS AND MEASUREMENTS
- STRONG ATTENTION TO DETAIL AND ABILITY TO WORK WITH PRECISION
- SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE CAPABLE OF USING LOGIC AND REASON TO PRIORITIZE TASKS AND PRODUCE RESULTS
- ABILITY TO WORK UNDER PRESSURE AND TASK SWITCH
- ABILITY TO DEAL WITH CLIENTS PROFESSIONALLY
- ABLE TO TAKE DIRECTION FROM TEAM MEMBERS
- CIVIL ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY PREFERRED

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
