Make an impact with our Expert Accounting team as a Bilingual Team Lead in a home office.

**What you will do**:

- Supervise and train the Expert Accounting team
- Ensure tight deadlines are met, provide, and oversee accounting activities, including:

- o Accounts payable (invoice entry, matching vendor invoices to purchase orders, and supplier account reconciliations, etc.)
- o Payroll (including source deduction remittances, etc.)
- o Regular scheduled cheque runs
- o Bank and credit card reconciliations
- o GST/HST/PST Remittances
- o General journal analysis and account reconciliation
- o Month end closing processeso Prepaid and Accrued Liability schedule creation and maintenance
- Act as a point of contact to resolve client/vendor account queries in a results-focused and collaborative manner
- Prepare client Monthly/Yearly financial reports required to evaluate achievement of corporate objectives
- Participate in client annual external audit and tax audit as required
- Implement consistent accounting policies, practices, and procedures across all clients
- Responsible for creating and maintaining process documentation for all clients
- Maintain customer confidentiality

**What you offer**:

- Minimum five (5) years of experience in full cycle accounting, preferably in a retail environment
- Minimum three (3) years of supervisory experience, preference given to leading remote teams
- Bilingualism is required (English/French)

- Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
- Aptitude for accuracy and analysis with strong attention to detail

**Ce que vous ferez**:

- Superviser et former l'équipe de Comptabilité Expert
- Veiller au respect des échéances, effectuer et superviser les activités comptables, notamment:

- o Comptes fournisseurs (saisie des factures, correspondance entre les factures des fournisseurs et les bons de commande, rapprochement des comptes fournisseurs, etc.)
- o Paie (incluant les remises de retenues à la source, etc.)
- o Chèques à intervalles réguliers
- o Rapprochements bancaires et de cartes de crédit
- o Remises TPS/TVH/TPS
- o Analyser le grand livre et effectuer le rapprochement des comptes
- o Processus de fin de mois
- o Création et mise à jour du calendrier des charges payées d'avance et des charges à payer
- Agir comme point de contact pour répondre aux questions des clients et fournisseurs sur leurs comptes, dans une optique de collaboration et de résultats
- Préparer les rapports financiers mensuels/annuels du client nécessaires pour évaluer la réalisation des objectifs de l'entreprise
- Participer à l'audit externe annuel du client et à l'audit fiscal, le cas échéant
- Mettre en œuvre des politiques, des pratiques et des procédures comptables uniformes pour l'ensemble des clients
- Créer et maintenir la documentation des processus pour tous les clients
- Respecter la confidentialité des clients

**Ce que vous avez à offrir**:

- Baccalauréat ou diplôme en comptabilité exigé
- Au moins cinq (5) ans d'expérience du cycle comptable complet, de préférence dans un environnement de vente au détail
- Au moins trois (3) ans d'expérience en supervision, de préférence dans la direction d'équipes à distance
- Bilinguisme (anglais-français) exigé
- Excellentes compétences en communication écrite et orale
- Solides compétences en analyse et en résolution de problèmes
- Maîtrise de Microsoft Office 365
- Souci d’exactitude, capacité d’analyse et grande attention aux détails
- Capacité à établir des relations de collaboration avec les clients internes et externes
