JF Fabrics is immediately seeking an energetic and skilled Warehouse Supervisor.

**Cycle Counts -**Run Bins for Daily Cycle Counts - Fabric and Loaners, Drapery Hardware items, and Drapery Hardware Rods.
- **Oversee Daily Operations - **Assist Warehouse Team with issues that come up during the day, and ensuring all daily tasks and responsibilities are addressed.
- **Conduct Cross Training** in Other Departments within the warehouse, where applicable.
- **Department Housekeeping** - Ensure departments are clean and organized.
- **Safety & Building Maintenance** - Ensure the checklist for the Order Picker & Forklift is reviewed. Ensure all staff are following policies for safety in the warehouse. Assist with building maintenance as required. Ensure warehouse security.
- **Pick-Up Orders** - Ensure customer pick-ups meet targets.
- **Problem Resolution**:Liaise with Customer Service, Sales Administration & Sales Management teams to assist with resolution to customer problems. E.g., Quality Claims, flawed goods etc.
- **Checklists -** ensure all weekly, monthly, annual checklists are completed as required.
- **Compliance -** Comply with policies, procedures, regulations and legislation, identifying any areas of non-compliance
- Ensure **Warehouse/ Inventory Requests** process is followed.

**. Reporting and Analysis**:Reviewing all daily, weekly and monthly reports, and following through on any issues requiring attention in a timely manner.
- **Staff Development, Coaching, Training, recruiting**:Assisting with Recruitment and training of new employees. Continually participating in, and lead training sessions, both product knowledge & Procedural.
- **Employee Reviews** - Providing input to employee reviews (annual, quarterly, etc.)
- **Daily Operations & scheduling**- Supervising the work flow to ensure all tasks & responsibilities required of the warehouse staff are addressed in the timeline required, and staff have completed their job functions by end of day
- Assign duties & follow up to ensure batches are being picked in a timely manner.

**Ideal Prerequisites**:
**Personal Skills and Abilities**:Positive and confident professional demeanour; strong communications skills, both written & verbal; ability to multi-task in a well-organized manner; attention to detail; ability to prioritize and adapt to changing requirements; personable with an ability to form relationships and encourage cooperation.

**Functional Experience, Skills and Abilities**:1-2 years experience in Warehousing, Inventory or related field. Previous experience in Supervisor or Team Lead role beneficial, but not required. Microsoft Office at an intermediate level (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); AS400 experience beneficial.

**Professional and Academic Credentials**:Post-secondary education (College or University Degree) in Warehousing, Logistics, Inventory or related field.

**Direct Reports**:Typically, 8-10 Warehouse Staff

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
