Job Summary:

Employal is seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Material Handler to operate Crown Reach forklift equipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing various tasks, operating equipment safely, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of experience operating Crown Reach or similar equipment. You will be comfortable lifting up to 40 lbs, wearing steel-toed safety shoes, and working in a fast-paced environment. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a busy warehouse setting is required, with experience in operating multiple types of forklifts an asset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate Crown Reach forklift equipment safely and efficiently
  • Unload and stack materials by raising and lowering lifting devices
  • Maneuver forklift safely using appropriate load rates and maintaining clear visibility of work areas
  • Safely and efficiently operate multiple types of forklifts, including Counterbalance, Double Pallet Walkie, Dock Stocker, and Reach
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines
  • Manage inbound and outbound logistics, loading and unloading trucks, and moving materials throughout the warehouse
  • Maintain accurate inventory records by effectively organizing and transporting products within the facility
  • Collaborate with warehouse team members and supervisors to meet shipping schedules and optimize warehouse operations
  • Conduct routine equipment inspections and maintenance to ensure optimal functionality of forklifts and adherence to safety standards
  • Transport goods between warehouse locations according to shipment and storage needs

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience operating Crown Reach or similar equipment
  • Comfortable lifting up to 40 lbs
  • Willingness to wear steel-toed safety shoes
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a busy warehouse setting
  • Experience in operating multiple types of forklifts an asset
