As the Head of Outreach and Development, you will lead a team of regional managers in efforts to bring local Canadian communities together through The company’s programs and services. You are an outgoing person who enjoys travelling to local Canadian cities and working with people inside and outside your team. You have a vision to provide support to women and children and improve their access to safety and resources

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Strategic Management & Leadership**
- Attain exceptional and deep knowledge of the company vision, focus, and services to be able to strategically develop plans that expand the company’s positioning, programs, and resources.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan to grow and deepen the company’s relationship with new and existing partners and organizations and identify areas for collaboration.
- Lead efforts to expand donors and beneficiaries of the company among communities and organizations, both within and outside the Muslim community, build the company donor/follower identity, and increase positioning of the company among social services.
- Develop yearly and quarterly strategic goals and targets for outreach and development collaboratively with senior leadership team and regional managers.
- Develop a plan for networking and PR so that Regional Managers can nurture relationships with external organizations including PR, events, fundraising activities, and collaboration opportunities.
- Hire and train all outreach staff to monitor various fundraisers and resolve all staff conflicts

**Community Outreach Strategy**
- Develop and oversee community outreach strategy for regional managers to implement including government relations, media relations, funders, service providers, donors, community partners and other social services.
- Develop community event planning and tracking platforms for regional managers to organize and facilitate events to engage the local community members and stakeholders.
- Develop a volunteer engagement strategy for Regional Managers to recruit, mobilize, and retain volunteers for events, seminars, fundraisers, regional activities, and programs.
- Prepare outreach presentations and train volunteers/staff on how to conduct outreach activities including workshops and events. Provide an interface between all outreach volunteers and staff
- Collaborate with Program Director to prepare monthly revenue projections and prepare all fundraising scripts, program briefs, sales pitches, and reminder letters in partnerships with the marketing department
- Develop a plan to better involve and incorporate feedback from partners and community organizations and those directly impacted by the company programs and services.

**ADMINISTRATIVE, REPORTING & **Ad Hoc**
- Maintain an up-to-date database of partners, supporters, and collaborators
- Report on monthly outreach and development targets and achievements to Program Director
- Provide quarterly updates and report on KPIs to senior leadership team
- Support establishment of the company in new regions across Canada
- Travel to other regions may be required for training, recruitment, and major events
- Attend all team meetings and trainings as required

**Qualifications/Experiences**:

- Basic knowledge of social services, violence against women, or Intimate Partner Violence is required
- Previous leadership and management experience is required
- Public speaking experience and skills is required
- Flexible schedule is required for evening and weekend events and opportunities
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Strong organization and multi-tasking skills
- Self-driven individual with the ability to self-manage
- A valid drivers’ license and vehicle is required
- Able to travel across Canada
