**Marine Detailer**

Port Boat House is an industry leading dealership for Yamaha Outboards, ATVs, SxS’s, Ranger/Cutwater Boats, G3 Boats and North River Boats. We have been in business for over 40 years and are continually growing.

We are looking to add a Marine Detailer to our Port Alberni team. The Detailer is honest and team oriented. While no experience is required preference will be given to individuals who enjoy the marine/motorsports industry. If you have a passion boats, fishing, or recreational vehicles this is the place for you to start your career.

Key responsibilities include washing, buffing and waxing of new and used boat packages
- Daily tasks include interior and exterior detailing of new and used boat packages
- Wax and polish of external features on boats
- General shop cleanup
- Shrink wrap of boat packages for winter storage
- General labour for repair shop

**Work Schedule and Benefits**
- Monday thru Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm
- Group health, dental, life and disability benefits after 3 months of employment

**Requirements**:

- Applicants must have excellent communication skills and be willing to work in a fast paced environment
- Applicant must be in good physical shape and have the ability to work outside in all weather conditions
- Previous detail experience an asset but not required
- No previous boat experience required however preference will be given to people with basic marine knowledge
- Accountable with strong work ethic and consistent attendance
- Highly organized with strong time management skills
- Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule
