Gps/eld Coordinator

The Municipal Group of Companies, based in Bedford, Nova Scotia, is a large, diversified organization engaged in all major aspects of heavy civil construction, environmental and transportation services within Atlantic Provinces. We are currently seeking a GPS/Telematics coordinator to join our team based out of Bedford, Nova Scotia.

**Job Summary**:
**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of fleet equipment hardware
- _(GPS, ELD, Radios, tracking equipment, fuel master systems, Snow ops)_
- Manage and monitor GPS tracking and data management systems for company vehicles
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to GPS tracking and data management
- Manage Premier support contact with vendor provider
- Order and manage fleet equipment inventory & parts
- Communicate with other team members to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues
- Training and support, technology, troubleshooting, etc.
- Vendor engagement, technical issues, contract requests, RMA/defective returns, weekly support meetings, stay informed on industry developments, new technologies and data management systems
- Other duties and responsibilities as required

**Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, and Experience**:

- Experience in the principles and concepts of telematics or equivalent work experience
- Background in GPS/ELD, tracking systems and data management is an asset
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Professional attitude, punctual, assertive, and personable
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of MS Office Suite is required
