Gps/eld Coordinator

The Municipal Group of Companies, based in Bedford, Nova Scotia, is a large, diversified organization engaged in all major aspects of heavy civil construction, environmental and transportation services within Atlantic Provinces. We are currently seeking a GPS/Telematics coordinator to join our team based out of Bedford, Nova Scotia.

**Job Summary**:
**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**:
Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of fleet equipment hardware
(GPS, ELD, Radios, tracking equipment, fuel master systems, Snow ops)
Manage and monitor GPS tracking and data management systems for company vehicles
Maintain accurate records and reports related to GPS tracking and data management
Manage Premier support contact with vendor provider
Order and manage fleet equipment inventory & parts
Communicate with other team members to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues
Training and support, technology, troubleshooting, etc.
Vendor engagement, technical issues, contract requests, RMA/defective returns, weekly support meetings, stay informed on industry developments, new technologies and data management systems
Other duties and responsibilities as required

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, and Experience:
Experience in the principles and concepts of telematics or equivalent work experience
Background in GPS/ELD, tracking systems and data management is an asset
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Professional attitude, punctual, assertive, and personable
Strong computer skills and knowledge of MS Office Suite is required
