Risk/compliance Officer

The Position**:
The Risk/Compliance Officer is responsible for examining and monitoring fraud and following anti-money laundering guidelines for Large Cash Reports, daily alerts, and potential ATM large cash deposits. The Risk Officer communicates with designated branch staff if items are not completed correctly or if additional information is required. Other responsibilities will include research, report, prepare and assist with internal and external audits being conducted. Other duties will be performed as required consistent with the goals, objectives, and responsibilities of Vision Credit Union Ltd., directed by the Manager of Risk and Manager of Compliance.
This is a full time permanent position.
The Person:
- Knowledge of basic office procedures with 2 years’ experience in a financial institution.
- Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills.
- Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills.
- High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and/or reasoning to identify underlying principles, reasons, or facts.
- Able to work well under pressure and meet set deadlines.
- Cooperative or Credit Union industry experience is a benefit.
Compensation:
- Salary range $42,000 to $52,800/annually
