It is an exciting time for Ontario’s credit unions sector. The recent passage of the new Credit Unions and Caisses Populaires Act 2020 (CUCPA 2020) created a dynamic and evolving operating environment full of opportunities and challenges. Global trends towards more digitalization, open banking and new financial products are further fueling the winds of change.
