We are in search of a Rollerblading instructor(s) for the spring-summer skate season.

A bit of background on us you ask? We are an enthusiastic bunch of instructors who adore sharing our talents with many and seeing smiles on and off the track, in search of an addition to our team who is also full of energy and enthusiastic about teaching

**Program Timing/Work Hours**:
This position is perfect for someone looking for a consistent and routine schedule, available the following hours:
**JULY 2, 2024-AUGUST 31, 2024 (Summer 2024) | SEPTEMBER 4, 2024-OCTOBER 31, 2024**:

- OPTION A) _Saturday's 11:00 AM-5:00 PM._
- OPTION B) _Sunday's 11:00 AM-5:00 PM._

**Requirements**:

- Must know how to in-line rollerblade.
- Must have a minimum of 2-3 years experience working with both children and adults with a disability or special needs in a teaching environment.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt lessons to meet individual needs and abilities, ensuring an inclusive and supportive environment for all students.
- Can travel TO and FROM the work location, hassle-free with minor equipment (teaching materials/props).
- Able to provide a Criminal Background Check.

**Job Duties**:

- Ability to assist participants of varying weights to get up safely and comfortably.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with students, parents, and caregivers.
- Assist with the development of a structured teaching program tailored for individuals with disabilities.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for making a positive impact in the lives of individuals with diverse abilities.

**Bonus, but not required**:

- CPR/First Aid Certified.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

- Day shift

JULY/AUGUST & SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER
OPTION A) Saturday's 11:00AM-5:00PM.
OPTION B) Sunday's 11:00AM-5:00PM.

Will you be available within these hours until August 31, 2024 and/or October 31, 2024?
- Will you be available to attend summer training in June and/or July?

**Education**:

- DCS / DEC (preferred)

**Experience**:

- teaching/instructing: 1 year (preferred)
- in-line rollerblading: 1 year (required)
