Reporting to the Manager, Strategic Accommodations, this position functions within applicable legislation, regulations, policies, guidelines, and standards.

As the Parking and Fleet Coordinator, you will provide parking and fleet oversight for Seniors, Community and Social Services (SCSS), a very large, complex, and geographically dispersed ministry with over 1800 government-owned and leased parking spaces and 160 fleet vehicles located throughout the province. You will be the primary point of contact for SCSS Executive Team, Deputy Minister and Minister Office, staff members, Alberta Infrastructure, Service Alberta, and Treasury Board and Finance in relation to ensuring the parking and fleet programs are administered in accordance with relevant GoA and Ministry directives, policies, and guidelines.

You will review and approve parking assignment requests, processes associated with payroll and direct billing transactions, maintain parking inventories, and respond to enquiries and concerns relating to parking assignments. You will also review the ministry fleet to provide recommendations on the lifecycle of ministry vehicles, optimizing ministry investment by cascading or refreshing and lead the ministry fleet site contacts to implement related policies and procedures.

You will coordinate projects and initiatives for parking and fleet programs and follow up on issues and participate on committees representing the Ministry Parking and Fleet program.

As the Ministry contact and specialist in the use of the cross-government Online Parking Request Administration system (OPRA) and Holman Insights (Fleet management system), you will provide expertise and guidance, consultation, and coaching to Ministry staff in the use of these systems. You will also resolve or escalate issues to Alberta Infrastructure and Service Alberta relating to the functionality of the systems.

Serve as Ministry Lead Wireless Account Authorization Coordinator.

Responsible for booking schedule for Unit fleet vehicles.

**Qualifications**:
High School Diploma plus three years of related experience.

**Equivalency**: Directly related experience or education considered on the basis of: one year of experience for one year of education or one year of education for one year of experience.

Parking and Fleet management experience is preferred. Experience with Government of Alberta and ministry specific computer programs such as OPRA, Holman Insights and 1GX would be considered an asset for success in this role.

Experience coordinating multiple activities under tight timelines would be an asset. Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail are required.

**Salary**:
$1,884.99 to $2,307.87 bi-weekly ($49,198 - $60,235/year)

**Notes**:
