Aldex Chemical Co. Ltd, a leading chemical manufacturing company based in Granby, QC, is seeking a dynamic and talented Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role requires a highly organized individual with excellent communication skills in both English and French, previous administrative experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), and a willingness to implement customs-related compliance processes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide administrative support to various departments within the organization, primarily supporting and reporting to the Finance Director.
- Prepare files and documents for compliance with US and Canadian customs processes for manufactured goods.
- Assist in accounts payable clerking, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in processing invoices and payments.
- Manage delivery and shipping schedules of products, ensuring timely and efficient logistics.
- Transition and maintain filing systems both electronically and physically.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and contribute to the overall success of the organization.

**Requirements**:

- Fluency in both English and French (written and verbal) is mandatory.
- Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- General understanding of US and Canadian customs processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other office software.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

Aldex Chemical Co. Responsabilités:

- Fournir un soutien administratif à divers départements au sein de l'organisation, en soutenant principalement le Directeur Financier.
- Préparer des dossiers et des documents pour la conformité aux processus douaniers américains et canadiens
- Aider dans la comptabilité des comptes fournisseurs, en veillant à l'exactitude et à la rapidité du traitement des factures et des paiements.
- Gérer les horaires de livraison et d'expédition des produits, en garantissant une logistique rapide et efficace.
- Assurer la transition et la gestion des systèmes de classement à la fois électroniques et physiques.
- Collaborer avec les membres de l'équipe pour garantir un flux de travail efficace et contribuer au succès global de l'organisation.

Exigences:

- La maîtrise de l'anglais et du français (écrit et verbal) est obligatoire.
- Expérience antérieure dans un rôle administratif, de préférence dans un environnement dynamique.
- Compréhension générale des processus douaniers américains et canadiens.
- Maîtrise de la suite Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) et d'autres logiciels de bureau.
- Fortes compétences organisationnelles et en gestion du temps avec une grande attention aux détails.
- Excellentes compétences en communication et en relations interpersonnelles.
- Capacité à effectuer plusieurs tâches et à hiérarchiser efficacement les tâches.
- Volonté d'innover, d'apprendre, de mettre en œuvre et de s'adapter à de nouveaux processus et procédures.
- Une expérience antérieure des tâches liées aux douanes est un atout souhaitable.
