**POSITION OVERVIEW**
Join our team as a Revenue Services Coordinator and become an integral part of our dynamic organization. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring accuracy and compliance in tax and utility billing processes, while also providing crucial support in maintaining property databases and facilitating seamless revenue operations.

Reporting tothe Revenue Services Supervisor, as Revenue Services Coordinator, you will play a vital role in coordinating tax and utility billing activities, maintaining accurate property databases, and providing technical guidance to junior staff. Your responsibilities will encompass a diverse range of tasks, from preparing annual billings to reconciling tax and utility accounts and implementing system enhancements. This position offers the opportunity to exercise independence and initiative while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve our organizational objective.

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**
Completion of Grade 12 supplemented by completion of two years in a recognized professional accounting program and sound related experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES**
- Considerable knowledge of departmental practices, procedures, rules and regulations and procedures governing the work performed.
- Considerable knowledge of the legislation, local government act, rules and regulations governing property tax, utility billing and collection.
- Ability to effectively coordinate and to participate in the preparation of annual tax and utility billings and to ensure adherence to time deadlines.
- Ability to process a variety of documents, calculate various fees and charges, analyze and reconcile data, and identify and adjust errors in records.
- Ability to provide technical guidance, training and assist a superior to review the work of junior staff engaged in cashiering and clerical duties.
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision and to develop, recommend and implement new or revised office practices and procedures.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Ability to prepare and maintain a variety of reports and records related to the work.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external contacts and to answer public inquiries.
- Skill in the use of business office equipment, including computer hardware and software programs and billing and financial systems.

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**
Experience with Tempest software and strong knowledge of municipal and property tax structure.
Considerable Knowledge of the _Community Charter_ and Local Government Act. Understand the legislation, rules, and regulations governing property tax and utility billing and collection.
Experience with MS Office, intermediate to advanced level with MS Excel, and database analysis.
