**Insurance Administrator**
As an Insurance Administrator, you can expect to work collaboratively with a team on validation for acceptance insurance documents, update the insurance policy details and managing the administration of insurance policy cancellations and claims. You will be ensuring that all policy documentation is accurately completed based on the set acceptance criteria, updated when required, consistent with credit and legal requirements. Responsible for exercising adherence to: credit and matrix authorizations, system rules, and corporate policies to ensure the accurate completion of validations and updates while meeting customer expected turnaround-timing commitments.

**Day to Day**
This position is responsible for supporting the Portfolio Services Department in insurance administrative responsibilities. This is a 6-month contract hybrid position and requires customer contact.
- Respond to insurance inquiries and resolve insurance issues.
- Verify proof of insurance, update customer data base, and manage internal and external claims.
- Monitor the portfolio ensuring that our insurance requirements are being met, contacting customers for proper documentation when necessary.
- Placing customers on our forced placed insurance program when necessary.
- Ensure that the team goals are met including turnaround time.
- Ensure liability insurance is obtained from end users on identified risk portfolios.
- Communicate with agents, customers and dealers/vendor as required to resolve insurance coverage issues.
- Record and review all insurance cancellation requests and pursue contract to ensure our interests are secured by renewed insurance policy or placement of account on our insurance program
- Issue insurance credits as necessary
- Ensure turnaround time is met, advise Manager if it is in jeopardy.
- Participate in department and cross-functional initiatives
- Other duties (general office) as required

**Essentials**
- Post-Secondary education a requirement
- Bilingual (French) an asset.
- Customer service experience an asset
- 1-3 years of insurance and/or leasing experience an asset
- Having worked in an Operations function with leasing or financing industry experience considered an asset
- Proficient in MS - Word & Excel and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail and excellent keying data entry skills
- Excellent planning & organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities within tight timeframes while maintaining ongoing attention to detail while meeting set deadlines.
- Solid team player with the ability to work in a very demanding, fast-paced environment
- Must be self-directed, decisive and goal oriented
- Comfortable working independently in an empowered work environment with established goals/expected results and limited step-by-step direction.
- Excellent problem-solving skills along with logical thinking
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Effective interpersonal & relationship building skills
- Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment with an ability to embrace and champion change

- Ability to work from home remotely/independently and in a virtual team environment (in office requirement of 2 days/week)
