Hiring Unit:

- Department of Chemistry_

Position Summary:

- Set up the undergraduate Laboratories.
- Set up glassware and apparatus.
- Organize laboratory storage.
- Prepare some basic chemicals.
- Assist with Chemical and equipment inventory taking and recording.
- Glassware and apparatus cleaning.
- Cleaning benches and working spaces
- The list of functions outlined above is representative and not a complete and detailed list of tasks which may be performed by an incumbent. For example, incumbents may be asked to perform some elements of Lab Helper level “A” tasks in addition to the above listed functions

Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities

Good communications skills. Able to work in a team environment. Experience and education: Preferably a student registered in a Science program, but NOT

enrolled in a CHEM Lab course in Winter 2023.

**Eligible for Work Study for the fall term**

**Must be available to work a minimum of 6 hours weekly, between 10h00 and 14h00, on one or over several days (Monday to Friday)
