**TNO** - The Neighbourhood Organization (TNO) is a well-established community-based social and health service agency providing a wide range of programs and services supporting low income and newcomer communities across Ontario and sometimes across different provinces through online services and referrals. We are seeking a **Settlement Worker** to join our team in a **Part-time** contract role until March 31, 2024. TNO is a great place to work and we make a difference in the communities we serve.

The Settlement Worker role involves offering direct one-on-one services, including referrals to both community and external resources as well as providing accurate and current information tailored to client needs. The position encompasses conducting comprehensive client needs assessments and collaboratively developing service plans. Responsibilities also include intake and assessment of newcomers' settlement needs, individual case management and counseling, ensuring client safety, addressing feedback, maintaining databases, and submitting necessary reports.

**Screening **- As a condition of employment, the successful applicant must complete a Vulnerable Sector Screening.

**Job Type**: Part-Time Contract until March 31, 2024

**Schedule**: 21 hours per week (3 days) during Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. - Some evenings and weekends may be required based on program needs.
