**The team**:
The needs of businesses running on Jobber are complex and constantly evolving. While our product aims to meet 80% of those needs, we're looking to meet the other 20% through apps and integrations delivered by our partner and developer ecosystem. This team leads all efforts to support this ecosystem with an emphasis on scalability.

**The role**:
Reporting to the Group Product Lead, the **Product Partnerships Manager** will focus on strategically scouting, acquiring, negotiating, onboarding and maintaining engagements for our Jobber ecosystem partners.

You will be a Product and Partner thought leader, working cross functionally with internal and external teams to successfully grow our ecosystem of partners and developers. You will play a critical role in developing the early stages of our platform approach. In this role, you will need to deeply understand Jobber's business and product priorities and engage our external ecosystem to help accelerate the growth of our customers, partners, and Jobber.

The **Product Partnerships Manager** will:

- Understand the Jobber product including its strengths and weaknesses then form opinions on what to solve through our ecosystem and how it contributes to our strategic position.
- Work closely with the Platform Product Development teams to keep track of what's released and how it will impact our partner and developer ecosystem.
- Define the needs of our ecosystem and translate that back to impactful change within the Product Development teams.
- Proactively identify and define strategy around key categories and opportunities that will yield impactful change for Jobber customers.
- Take our existing partner and developer pipeline to the next level by leading a best-in-class program, including: prioritization, sell-in, commercial negotiation, technical readiness, GTM, iterations, etc.
- Develop material and frameworks that will scale our ecosystem from hundreds to thousands of partners and developers.
- Evaluate inbound and outbound opportunities and determine the best path forward for each.
- Collaborate across Jobber (product development, sales, success, marketing, and operations) and externally (partners and developers) to grow our ecosystem.
- Regularly report on pipeline and results across the Jobber organization.

**To be successful, you should have**:

- **Previous experience** in product management or partnerships (business development, strategic partnerships, or related roles)
- **A proven track record **of identifying, negotiating, and executing successful strategic partnerships.
- **Execution results**. Creating insights is one thing - leading and driving execution is another. You are motivated by getting things across the finish line and have a solid track record of managing projects and multiple priorities at any given time. You look for solutions and are quick at thinking on your feet.
- **Communication excellence**. Ability to lead effective conversations across all levels (junior team members to C-suite), internally and externally, and across functions. You are just as comfortable collaborating with a development team as you are with a partner employee.
- **An ability to motivate.** You focus on the relationship and build trust easily. You can use this skillset to drive movement internally and externally.
