Conversion Manager

**About Us**
**Position Summary**
The System Conversions team is responsible for converting clients from their legacy system onto our chosen processing platform. We need an inspirational leader who has prior experience converting/implementing clients and working in the HCM/PEO industry to help us improve on our ability to quickly convert clients with quality, focusing on client and employee retention.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- Work with Human Resources staff to recruit, interview, select, hire, and employ an appropriate number of employees
- Identify, participate in and lead innovation projects to continuously improve the efficiency of business processes and procedures to enhance speed, quality, efficiency, and output.
- Plan and allocate resources to effectively staff and accomplish the work to meet departmental productivity and quality goals
- Lead employees using a performance management and coaching/development process that provides an overall framework to encourage employee contribution and includes goal setting, feedback, and performance development planning.
- Create an environment where accuracy, teamwork and commitment are expected and supported
- Consciously create a workplace culture that is consistent with the overall organization's and that emphasizes the identified mission, vision, guiding principles, and values of the organization.
- Prepare and lead monthly staff meetings and consistently hold employee one-on-ones
- Provide employee oversight on project status and deliverables, making crucial decisions where necessary to adjust workload, reassign deliverables in order to ensure quality and on-time delivery
**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**
- Self-motivated professional capable of working with mínimal supervision, ability to reflect and hold yourself accountable while working under pressure and meeting concrete deadlines
- Must have strong organizational skills, be able to prioritize and quickly switch between projects and priorities
- Ability to work effectively with internal and external employees with diverse backgrounds
- Better than average written and spoken communication skills with the ability to adjust messaging depending on the audience
- Operates with a high attention to detail, forward thinking throughout the process to identify & mitigate risk and make necessary adjustments to ensure conversion project success
**Education & Experience**
- 3-5 years of payroll/benefits/tax administration required, with experience in PEO, ASO preferred
- Minimum 4 years of leadership experience
- Prior experience in a system conversion or implementation department required
