**Here’s what you’ll be doing**:
**In General**

You are the person who does the Pre-Construction Planning. You bring the design, the specs and the budget into alignment before construction. Then you manage the project and the budget through to completion. You’ll be the client’s main point of contact while the project is planned. You’ll be in the office estimating projects, consulting on design and specifications, and dealing with trades and suppliers. You’ll balance your office time with field work, providing project support and coordination as needed. You’ll typically be planning 1-3 projects, and managing 1-3 active projects at a time. You will be working closely with the Site Supervisors to ensure projects run smoothly and are built to the highest standard.

- plan out each day, prioritize various competing demands
- consult with clients and designers about costs and buildability
- consult with clients, designers, suppliers and trades about specifications and help with client selections
- develop, present, and refine open book construction budgets with clients
- take responsibility for budget performance and maintain positive client relations
- do take-offs, and populate estimating software with data
- prepare bid requests, assess and award bids from suppliers and trades
- file, organize and maintain project documents
- quality assessment and control: make sure our site work is excellent and our details shine
- collaborate with the Site Supervisors on the following: schedule and budget progress, scope of work, specifications, construction details, crew management, and more
- actively collaborate with the leadership team as a creative problem solver and source of expertise and knowledge.
