Job Summary:

The Sales and Customer Service Lead Hand is a key member of the Mount Washington Alpine Resort team, responsible for providing exceptional guest service and leading the Reservations and Guest Services team. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Reservations and Guest Services team, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent guest service.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Reservations and Guest Services area, including cash handling and inventory management.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Provide training and coaching to team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional guest service.
  • Monitor and analyze guest feedback and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date on resort operations, including snow conditions, lift schedules, and other relevant information.
  • Assist with special projects and initiatives as needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a resort or hospitality setting.
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling cash and inventory.
  • Computer literate and proficient in using software applications, including point-of-sale systems.
