Miller has over 50 years’ experience in the waste management sector and operates out of 30 locations. We are looking for a highly capable Shop Lead Hand to support our Truro, location.

**Responsibilities**:
This is a working lead hand position. You will lead the day to day operation of the day shift in the Truro maintenance shop, overseeing shop throughput, repair quality, shop safety, and personnel. In this position you will be required to service, diagnose and complete repairs to waste collection vehicles to both the chassis and packer system as well as the facility/shop maintenance. You will be responsible with ensuring the fleet is ready to work each day. You will be required to conduct vehicle maintenance according to established MWS policies and procedures. You will ensure that the fleet meets corporate appearance standards and maintain a clean and organized workplace as well as liaise with operations to ensure service calls and or break downs are addressed and corrected in a timely fashion.
