Due to current growth and new upcoming real estate development project phases, we are looking to secure an experienced Loan Underwriter to join our head office team.

**About the Position**
- Work closely with the President and CEO in the preparation of loan documentation packages to be submitted to third party lending institutions for approval on project financing
- Advise internal leadership on the best course of action and approach to maximize the potential for desired loans and project financing to be awarded
- Work collaboratively with the internal finance and accounting, real estate development, and construction teams to ensure accurate and timely collection and provision of required information and materials to third party lenders
- All other related duties as required

**The Successful Applicant**
- 5-10 years of experience working in a commercial brokerage or lending institution in a dedicated loan underwriting position, with direct experience underwriting construction loans for residential building developers
- Direct experience in residential construction underwriting and draw financing
- Strong leadership skills and initiative
- Can-do attitude
- Work well in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products, such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong verbal and written business communication skills.
- The ability to work independently to prioritize conflicting deadlines.

Pay: $70,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
