**Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Assess borrower's financial status, credit history, employment history, and other relevant information
- Conduct thorough risk analysis to identify potential issues or discrepancies
- Verify accuracy of all supporting documentation and ensure compliance with lending guidelines
- Collaborate with loan officers, processors, and other team members to gather additional information or clarify details
- Make informed decisions regarding loan approvals or denials based on established criteria
- Provide clear and concise explanations for loan decisions to borrowers and internal stakeholders
- Stay updated on industry regulations, market trends, and underwriting guidelines

**Experience**:

- Mortgage Underwriting: 1 year (preferred)

**Requirements**:

- Completed post-secondary education or equivalent work experience required
- Work experience as a Mortgage Underwriter or similar role
- Solid math skills for calculations related to loan amounts, interest rates, etc.
- Ability to collect and analyze relevant data from various sources
- Detail-oriented

Pay: $42,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
