Dental Assistant

We are looking for an ambitious & energetic individual who is interested in joining our friendly team to help us grow our practice As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting the dentist during dental procedures and providing exceptional patient care. If you have a passion for dentistry and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
**Responsibilities**:
- Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary equipment is ready
- Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments, suctioning, and providing support as needed
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Prepare materials for impressions and restorations
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-operative care instructions
- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
- Perform basic dental receptionist duties as needed
**Skills**:
- Proficient in medical terminology related to dentistry
- Strong knowledge of dental assisting procedures and techniques
- Familiarity with dental receptionist duties, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow is an asset but not required
- Proficient in using Tracker software is an asset but not required
Qualifications:
- Completion of a dental assistant program require
- X-ray certification required
- CPR certification preferred
